Michael L. McKennon, Founding Member
Michael is a founding member of dbbmckennon and brings decades of experience in audit, assurance, public accounting, and private industry. Prior to founding dbbmckennon, he was a founding partner of McKennon, Wilson & Morgan LLP and previously worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen.
Michael is a Certified Public Accountant in California and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Michael was formerly a director and finance chairman for the Orange Coast YMCA and served as a Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Orange County based Pacific Premier Bank, a $3.5 billion in assets community bank. Michael received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton
Michael, when not working, enjoys spending time studying financial and economic activity. He loves his family, surfing, snow skiing, tennis and fine wines.
Russ Boyer, Founding Member
Russ is a founding member of dbbmckennon and leads the firm’s San Diego practice. He has more than three decades of experience in public accounting and private industry, including experience with Deloitte and Flying J International.
Russ specializes in technical accounting, financial reporting, and audit services for companies reporting with the SEC. His experience spans technology, software, professional services, alternative fuels, manufacturing, and retail.
Russ is a Certified Public Accountant in California and a member of the AICPA and CalCPA. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from San Diego State University.
Russ, when not working, enjoys attending sporting events, hiking, skiing, and going to concerts.
David Gosselin, Partner
David is a partner in dbbmckennon’s audit and accounting practice, leads the Seal Beach office, and specializes in IPOs, PCAOB audits, SEC reporting, Regulation A+, Regulation Crowdfunding, and companies preparing to enter the public markets.
With more than two decades of experience serving SEC reporting and emerging-growth companies, David’s experience spans technology, robotics, aerospace, software, retail, services, and manufacturing.
David has authorized continuing education for the CalCPA Education Foundation and is active in the So Cal business community, including co-founding one of Orange County’s largest nonprofits for emerging professionals and serving on nonprofit boards and audit committees.
David is a CPA licensed in California, New York, and Hawaii and earned his accounting degree from the University of Arizona.
Outside of work, David enjoys coaching youth sports, playing soccer, and spending time with his kids.
Marianne D’Elia, Principal
Marianne is a Principal in dbbmckennon’s audit and assurance practice and has more than 16 years of experience serving SEC reporting companies. Her experience includes technical accounting, financial reporting, and audit matters for public and emerging-growth companies.
Marianne has also worked on engagement teams for multiple IPO transactions and brings significant experience with the financial reporting demands of companies entering the public markets.
She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in California and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Marianne graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis in accounting.
